Below are the verses that stood out to me yesterday in my Bible reading. Lately, it has felt like evil is prevailing in many circumstances surrounding me and my friends. These verses are a good reminder that GOD IS STILL IN CONTROL.

Let those who love the Lord hate evil,

for he guards the lives of his faithful ones

and delivers them from the hand of the wicked.

Light is shed upon the righteous

and joy on the upright in heart.

Rejoice in the Lord, you who are righteous

and praise his holy name.

Psalm 97:10-12

Lord, I am asking you to deliver these situations from the hand of the wicked. Guard our lives. Give us your light and joy. Amen
