Last Day at the Beach : (

On Saturday, after being at Knott's Berry Farm the whole day before, we were wiped out. We ended up spending most of that day hanging out at the condo, watching some World Cup Soccer, doing some laundry, and then doing some shopping a little later in the day. No pictures from Sat.

Sunday was our last day in CA. We decided it was only fitting to spend the day at the beach one more time. We went back to Laguna beach. That one has become our personal favorite. There are bathrooms, a playground, beach volleyball, and good waves. Unfortunately it was pretty cloudy and overcast all day, but we were still on the beach!!

Remember me asking how to get sand out of an afro? Well, here is an example of what I am talking about. This chick literally rolled around in the sand and would even pour it over her head. I think sand is still coming out!!

Rick got some more volleyball time in.

Every time I go to the beach, I like to take pictures in the sand with names and the year. This was the first chance to do that with the kids. I hope it is the first of many opportunities.






When Rick and I went to CA for our anniversary back in Sept. we found a Mexican restaurant called "Fred's" that we liked. We decided to take the kids there on our first Sunday night in CA. We had no idea when we went that it was "kids eat half price night." So, what better way to end our trip than to go to "Fred's" again.

The vacation ended at this point. Now we had a very long drive ahead for the next two days.
