Better Late Than Never

2 years ago for Father's Day, we "gave" Rick a grill. Our grill was dying a slow painful death and also a little small for our family. We intended to buy it at the end of the season when they went on clearance. I can't remember why it never happened. It may have been finances. It may have been that he couldn't find the one he wanted. Whatever the reason, we went for 2 years using our dying grill.

Last week, Rick got his new grill, and we laid the old one to rest. It was a good ole grill. We used it for over 8 years. The new one is a beauty. I am sure he will prepare lots of meat on that grill. We will celebrate lots of milestones with the food cooked there. We will feed a lot of guests with that grill. Rick will fulfill his dietary needs(I don't know about the men you know, but this man LOVES and NEEDS a lot of meat) using that grill as a tool.

Happy Fathers' Day 2 years late!!
What are you cooking for dinner, honey?

  1. Men and their grills are so cute. :) I know Brian would only be happier if our grill saw steak a little more often!
