Sam's Special Breakfast

On the first day of Kindergarten, we have a tradition in our house. After going to school, delivering the supplies to the classroom, and meeting the teacher, Rick and I take that kid out alone for a special breakfast to Gunther Toodys. This year was Sam's turn. It is so nice to do something special with just one child. It gives us a chance to focus on him and make him feel special. It is hard to do that some times in a household with 6 children.
Sam and his breakfast of pancakes, sausage, and hot chocolate.
2 of the special boys in my life.

Sam and his cubby. He still just steals my heart with that smile.
Lovin' life
My silly boy. He will always be my Sammy JoJo
This date was especially important for Sam. His world has been forever changed this year as he is no longer the baby of the family. He needed a day that was all about him.
