Waiting

God has told us "wait" a lot over the last 18 months.

Do you know how much I hate waiting?

I really like control. I like to plan. I like to know what is happening. I like to be prepared. It brings comfort to me.

I am having to give that over to God on almost a minute-by-minute basis this week.

We have been told to wait for lots of different reasons over the last 18 months.

Some of the waiting is over, and I can totally see God's Hand in it all.

Some things are not complete.

This weekend at the retreat, this is what He said to me:

I remain confident of this:

I will see the goodness of the LORD

in the land of the living.

Wait for the LORD;

be strong and take heart

and wait for the LORD.

Psalm27:13-14
