Tooth Tales

Last week, we had two big "tooth" events in our house. On Thursday, Abby had oral surgery to remove a tooth that was fused to the bone. She was put to sleep and 1/2 an hour later, they were done.

This was her right before they put her out.

When she came to, she was VERY groggy. To watch her, you would have thought her head weighed 50lbs. It was really funny. She was ready to leave the office about a 1/2 hour later.

We immediately left the office to get her a milkshake and some French Toast Sticks. She was starving. She has done great since the surgery. She only needed ibuprofen for the pain and is back to school today!!

Last Tuesday, Cody got braces!! He is officially a teenager for sure now!

He chose Cowboy colors for his bands, navy and gray.

Other than a couple of days of soreness and a learning curve in brushing, flossing and eating, he is doing great as well. We have already seen his teeth move. That is amazing!
