Swazi Trip Update

In 2 months, we will be boarding planes as a team of 12 people on our way to Swaziland, Africa.  This team will include, Rick, Sam, me, 2 moms, and 7 girls ranging in age from 13-22.  Rick and Sam are definitely going to have to stick together as the only guys on this trip!!  This is a unique team that God has assembled with a unique mission.

We are excited as we see the details of the trip come together.  He is showing us each step of the way what He has called us to do.  I am always amazed at how He brings together a group of people that would not connect in everyday life, but have been called to work together on this mission.  God knows what He is doing, and we are asking Him to prepare our hearts and minds for the work He is preparing for us.
I can't wait to love on these kids...
... and hold these babies...
 …and see these Gogos...
 …and teach about Jesus...
…and hug these necks...
…and spend time with these people...
…and take Sam on a safari...

Every time I go, I come back a different person.  I see lives changed on our team and in Swaziland.  I see relationships deepened and more trust built.  There are no two trips that are ever the same.  God always has something new!!

We are genuinely heartbroken by the needs of those who live in Swaziland.  Our family has decided that we want to be a conduit of blessing to the real needs of the people there. We personally give because we are grateful for what we have been given and want to help others.

We are so grateful for those of you who support the work of Beyond Survival and who have chosen to invest in our trip.  Sam is so ready to go!!

If you would like to invest in our upcoming trip, you can send checks written to Mountain Springs Church to 3620 Cranswood Way, Colorado Springs, CO  80918 with Swazi-Clapp in the memo or you can go online to mountainsprings.org to donate with a credit card.  Click on "Giving,"  "Give a one-time gift," Select "Woodmen Campus,"  then, after entering an amount, you can Select "Swaziland Mission - Rick Clapp or Laura Clapp".

Thank you so much for partnering with us!!  As the trip gets closer, we will begin to share specific prayer requests and supply needs that you can meet.
