Our church had a Family BBQ to fundraise for the missions' trips this summer

The weather, not so much!
It was a cold windy day,
but it was still a great opportunity for the team to raise money for our trip and serve the church
We celebrated Sam's spiritual bday
with a dinner of smoked sausage, Pioneer Woman mac n' cheese, green beans and crescent rolls
Sam got a journal as his gift,
This boy has a sensitivity to the things of God that is well beyond his years. We pray that as he grows in his walk with the Lord, He will continue to seek Him with all his heart!!
and of course, we had ice cream sundaes!!
Ms. Julie was in town for a visit. We got to spend several hours with her one afternoon!
Isaiah did soccer camp again this year

Ms. Holly took a skirt I bought in Swaziland and made it into a dress for Laila. It turned out great!! I love it that Laila has some clothing in fabrics from Swaziland. Thank you, Holly!! I decided a long time ago that I was not going to learn to sew. I am thankful that I have friends who do!!
These 3 did VBS at church last week.
The theme was Weird Animals
I got Sam a neck pillow for our Africa trip. He called me into his room and said, "Look, Mom, I am a toilet seat!" That boy!
I celebrated my 42nd bday on June 12. We woke up that morning to really yucky weather. It was chilly and rainy all day. Rick got me the cake I was wanting, Chocolate Mousse Cake!

The kids decorated and gave me some fabulous gifts!
Rick took me out for a date night! We went to a movie and out for Mexican food for dinner!!
